Help Support Our Local Code Blue Shelter!

Supervisor Bridget Kunakorn, Board Liaison to NBT’s Veteran’s Committee, is leading a donation drive for the Coalition to Support & Shelter the Homeless (CSSH) — a nonprofit serving Central Bucks County. This effort is part of her black belt leadership project, focused on giving back to the community through compassion and action.

During previous volunteer work last year at another Code Blue Shelter, Supervisor Kunakorn was especially moved by the number of Veterans seeking refuge from the cold — individuals who once served our country now in need of our support. Other individuals found themselves homeless due to sudden job loss or medical crisis, many were elderly. Several were working despite being homeless to try to change their situation. Regardless of the reason, all were grateful for a hot meal and warm, dry place to sleep during freezing temperatures.

What’s Needed:

• Hot Hands/Hot Toes – drop off at the New Britain Township office

• Gift Cards – drop in the lockbox at the Township window
