The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications.

New Britain Township hosts a Yard Waste Drop Off in the Spring and Fall for residents. The yard waste dumpster is outside the Township Building at 207 Park Avenue, Chalfont, PA 18914. The event is limited to Residents Only, No Businesses!!

New Britain, Doylestown, & Warrington Townships, and Chalfont & New Britain Boroughs are pleased to announce the 2024 Community E-Recycling Event.
The event is limited to Township and Borough Residents only. NO businesses.
PAR-Recycle Works will conduct the electronic recycling services. You must provide a valid Driver’s License or ID indicating you are a resident upon arrival.
Electronic Recycling: Televisions, Personal computers, printers, VCR/DVD/CD Players, Game Systems (Xbox, Nintendo, PlayStation, etc.) and much more will be accepted.

The Fall Festival is a community event held on the third Saturday of September annually and includes:

-Face Painting
-Food and more!!

New Britain Township Police Department partners with the Chalfont Fire Department, Medic 134, Aark, Bucks County Sheriff Department, Bucks County Child and Youth, and Bucks County Drug & Alcohol for a Trunk-or-Treat Halloween celebration.

New Britain Township partners with the Chalfont VFW Post 3258 to honor our local veterans and thank them for their service. The event is held annually on November 11th and rotates between Veterans Park and North Branch Park.

New Britain Township Parks & Recreation Commission welcomes Santa to New Britain Township by Fire Truck for two nights in December every year. Special Thanks to the Chalfont Fire Company!
-Residents are invited to come out and enjoy hot chocolate, cookies, musical performances, and a visit with Santa! Residents help us collect non-perishables and cash donations for the New Britain Food Pantry.
