Full-Time Police Officer

The New Britain Township Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of fulltime police officer. Anyone interested in the position must submit a completed application by 4:00 PM on Thursday, March 13, 2025. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: Minimum age 21, good physical condition, proportional height and weight, high school graduate (or equivalent). Applicants must have graduated and be certified by the Municipal Police Officer Education and Training Commission Certification (Act 120) by date of hire. Must possess a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License Must be physically and mentally fit to perform the full duties of a police officer. The probationary pay for entry level officer for 2025 is $70,260. The scale for an officer with 1-3 years of service is $79,427 – $122,100.
