CNBTJSA Brittany Drive Sewer Line Project – June 5, 2023

Performance Pipelining, a contractor working for the Chalfont-New Britain Township Joint Sewer Authority (CNBTJSA), will begin preliminary sewer line televising work on Brittany Drive starting Monday, June 5, 2023.  This work is in preparation for a rehab project to slip line all the sewer mains in Brittany Drive, later this summer.  The work should not cause traffic disruptions; however, residents should plan their travel accordingly.

Park Avenue/Ferry Road Water Main Project Update

The contractor will be on Park Avenue between West Fairway Drive and Ferry Road on Monday, May 8, thru Wednesday, May 10. Please be advised that on Thursday, May 11, the contractor will be working on Park Avenue just north of the Township building to complete the crossing of the existing gas pipelines. Work will resume on Park Avenue near the intersection of Ferry Road on Friday, May 12, and during the week of May 15.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ON ELECTION DAY, May 16, 2023: Park Avenue will be unrestricted to vehicular traffic so all voters can access the voting polls at the New Britain Township Building.

Tree Planting Event at West Branch Park, Chalfont – May 14, 2023

Help plant trees in a wet meadow right next to Neshaminy Creek. Don’t worry if you have not planted a tree before; experienced tree planters will be happy to teach you how!

Learn about a riparian buffer and how this project will help the Neshaminy Watershed.

Location: West Branch Park, Chalfont
Date and Time: May 14, 2023, 2 PM to 5 PM
Activities: Digging, planting trees, and caging trees
What to bring: You should bring a shovel, a small tarp, or a large bucket to store soil you dig out, work gloves, and something to drink.
Comments: The area we are planting into is a wet meadow, so there may be mud! Please dress with that in mind. Come for an hour or two or as long as you can. The Tree Planting Event will occur even if it is raining; in the event of lightning, the event will be canceled.

National Air Quality Awareness Week
