A meaningful project will be taking place the week of November 18th along the beautiful Pine Run Trail near Park Ave by the group called, “Wednesdays in the Watershed”!

On Monday, November 18th and Tuesday November 19th, a small group of people will be auguring holes in preparation for the plantings. On Wednesday, November 20th, 2024, the entire group will be planting trees beginning that morning.

The New Britain Township 2025 Preliminary Budget is available for public review at the New Britain Township building during regular business hours, and on the Township’s website at: https://newbritaintownship.org/information/financial-information/

The proposed 2025 budget provides an increase in real estate tax of 1.5 mills and no increase in earned income tax rates. The Board of Supervisors will consider adopting the Final Budget and Tax Levy Resolution at the business meeting on December 9th at the New Britain Township Building, 207 Park Avenue, Chalfont, PA 18914.

Location: Neshaminy Trailhead, Coleman Property (new township trail)

Dates: Saturday Nov 16th, 9 to 11:30 am and Sunday Nov 17th, 1:30 to 4 pm

Trees will be planted under the existing tree canopy beside a new trail created in a property granted to the township.  Volunteers should bring a hand trowel, shovel, tarp or large bucket for soil, gloves, work boots/closed shoes.

The tree planting has been organized by the Neshaminy Watershed Association, in partnership with the New Britain Township EAC.  Contact Ken Jones if you plan to attend or if you need additional information [email protected], 215-534-1616
