300 Committee

New Britain Township’s 300th Anniversary is on June 14, 2023, and is quickly approaching.

The Board of Supervisors is looking to establish an ad-hoc committee to focus on:

  • 300th Anniversary Commemorative Collectable
  • July 4th Parade Float
  • Fall Festival Display

The ad-hoc committee will be made up of two (2) Board members and five (5) residents/business owners, and will have three (3) sub-committees focusing on each of the activities/events defined above. Each of the subcommittees will be led by one of the five residents/business owners, with the remaining two (2) resident/business owner positions to be at-large. Volunteers are also needed to help with events.

New Britain Township is seeking volunteers to fill an immediate vacancy on the Parks & Recreation Committee. The vacancy is a 5‐year Term with one year remaining and expires on 12/31/2023. County Line Road to Close Saturday for Pipe Replacement in New Britain, Hatfield Townships (Canceled)

King of Prussia, PA – County Line Road is scheduled to close between Line Lexington Road and Trewigtown Road in New Britain Township, Bucks County, and Hatfield Township, Montgomery County, on Saturday, June 11, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for pipe replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Line Lexington Road, Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike), and Trewigtown Road. Local access will be maintained during the operation.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com or downloading the 511PA mobile application. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
