As a reminder, leaf waste and other yard waste must be bagged and disposed of properly, either by your trash hauler or at a designated facility. The Township holds two yard waste collection events per year at the Township Building. The next Township yard waste collection will be held during the week of May 8, 2023.
Leaf waste and other yard waste is not permitted to be deposited in roadways or in roadside swales. Per §20-204.1 of the Township’s Solid Waste Ordinance, leaf waste is considered a recyclable material and shall be placed at the curb, separated from solid waste, for collection or taken to a designated facility that accepts yard waste.
